Entry Tickets - Conditions of Sale

All tickets sold for the 2008 Pacific School Games (PSG) will be for general admission and will not guarantee seating.  Seating at all venues will be on a first come, first serve basis.

GST will apply to all 2008 PSG event tickets.  Stated prices include GST where applicable.

Holders of a State or Territory Government Seniors Card, Pensioner Concession Card or a Full Time Student (including International) Concession Card are eligible for a concession price ticket.  Proof of Concession entitlement must be produced at time of purchase or collection of pre-purchased tickets.  Failure to do so may result in full price being charged.

Documentation, including the 2008 Pacific School Games Order Number supplied at the time of purchasing tickets, identification and concession card, if applicable, will need to be presented when collecting pre-paid tickets.

 

Refunds

  • Tickets in one category can not be exchanged for any other category of ticket.
  • The 2008 PSG accepts no responsibility for replacement of lost, stolen or damaged tickets.
  • The 2008 PSG reserves the right not to offer a refund or credit if the tickets are unused, lost, damaged or stolen from the holder.
  • A ticket is not redeemable for cash.
  • The only exceptions will be in accordance with applicable laws in the ACT.

Children under the age of 5 years will be permitted to attend any 2008 PSG event at no cost but must not occupy a seat if all seats in a venue have been sold to paying ticket holders.

The 2008 PSG regards that information presented on tickets is correct at time of purchase.

Spectators must remain in the designated spectator areas and must not enter the field of play or pool deck.

The 2008 PSG reserves the right to add, withdraw or reschedule advertised events, seating arrangements and audience capacity.

A ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused upon refunding the ticket's face amount.

The circumstances in which 2008 PSG Management or their agents may refuse entry or evict a Ticket Holder from a Venue include, but are not limited to, any of the following circumstances:

  • where a Ticket Holder cannot produce a valid ticket;
  • where a Ticket Holder is behaving in a manner which may cause property damage or that threatens the safety of competitors, other Ticket Holders, or any other persons;
  • where a Ticket Holder is behaving in a manner that reasonably interferes with other Ticket Holders' enjoyment of the event;
  • where a Ticket Holder refuses to remain in the designated seating area;
  • where a Ticket Holder conducts themselves in a way that management deems disorderly;
  • where a Ticket Holder uses vulgar or abusive language;
  • where a Ticket Holder fails to comply with the rules of the 2008 PSG Management or the Venue; and
  • where a Ticket Holder refuses to remain in designated spectator areas.
