2008 PSG Tickets - Swimming

Tickets for the 2008 Pacific School Games for all events other than swimming will go on sale as from the 1st October 2008.

Swimming tickets will be available from the 20th October 2008 after the close of entries.

Spectator capacity at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Swimming Complex is limited to 700 per session.

To accommodate as many people as possible, we will be doing the following:-

  • the sale of tickets to the swimming competition will be limited to two tickets per person for each of sessions 1 & 2 on each day of competition.
  • only tickets for session 1 & 2 for each day of competition will be available for pre-purchase.  Tickets for session 3 will be available for sale at the venue on the day.
  • the competition will be divided into three sessions daily. Sessions 1 & 2 will be for preliminary heats. The finals for all those heats will be in the third session. This may not be the case for Swimmers with a Disability (SWD) as multi-disability events will be timed finals staged throughout the program.
  • holders of tickets in the first two sessions will be given priority for the purchase of tickets for the third session. Approximately half of the available tickets to session three on each day will be reserved for holders of tickets from session 1 and the remainder for holders of tickets from session 2.
  • hopefully, this will enable as many spectators as possible with vested interest to view both the heats and finals of particular events.

Details of how to purchase tickets to all 2008 PSG events will be posted on this site by the end of August 2008.
