PSG Flag Flies Into Canberra

The 2008 Pacific School Games (PSG) Flag has finally arrived in Canberra. General Manager of the 2008 PSG, Ron Burns and Global CEO of National Flags Ronald Strachan unveiled the PSG flag at the 2008 PSG headquarters at Higgins Primary school this morning.
The 2008 PSG Flag will be marched out and raised at the much anticipated 2008 PSG Opening Ceremony on the 30 November at the Canberra Stadium
The 2008 PSG Opening Ceremony is expected to be a kaleidoscope of song and dance spectaculars performed by over 1000 ACT school students signifying the start of the weeklong competition in the 5 sports of Basketball, Diving, Hockey, Track and Field and Swimming.
The Opening Ceremony will centre on themes encapsulating the spirit of sport, education and multi-culturalism to welcome all competitors and visitors to the Nation’s Capital.
Already, all States and Territories of Australia as well as 26 different countries from Asia and the Pacific region have indicated a strong interest in participating in the 2008 PSG.
Preparations for the 2008 PSG continue with the PSG Team expecting the delivery of the 2008 PSG medals and the publication of Issue 2 of the official 2008 PSG magazine, Good Sport in ACTion later this week.
