Basketball 
Competition Venue
The 2008 PSG Basketball competition will be played at two venues, the Belconnen Basketball Stadium and the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Basketball and Netball Centre which is located in the Frank Stewart Sport Training Facility. There are four courts at the Belconnen Basketball Stadium and five at the AIS. All courts will be used for the competition.
The Belconnen Basketball Stadium is situated approximately 3 kilometres from the AIS, the venue for both the 2008 PSG Swimming and Track & Field. The Belconnen Stadium is currently the home court of the Canberra Gunners who play in the East Conference of the South East Australian Basketball League (SEABL).
The AIS Basketball and Netball Centre is the home of the AIS Basketball and Netball teams. Some of Australia's best basketball players have played and trained on the AIS courts including, Lauren Jackson, Mark Bradtke and Patrick Mills.
