Training

 

# Please note the dimensions of the platforms are as follows:

•   5m      4.2m long x 2m wide (restricted run up access)
• 10m      4.8m long x 2m wide
• All divers and team officials will need to have PSG accreditation to gain access to pool deck.
• Divers must hand their accreditation to their coach responsible for them at the start of their training session.                                                       

• For duty of care a diver can only use the diving boards while under the direct supervision of their accredited team coach.
• Training will be available for all teams prior to the competition on the following days:

Saturday 29 November

• Training will be available for all teams from 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Team Managers are requested to contact the PSG Sport Manager if a training session is required on this day.  Depending on demand, teams may be allocated session times.

 

Friday 28 November

• Training available on request.
• Team Managers need to contact the PSG Sport Manager if a training session is required on this day via email at info@pacificschoolgames.edu.au by
  1 November 2008.

Competition Days

• Morning training sessions are only available for those divers competing in that day’s competition.

• A 10 (ten) minute warm up will be allowed preceding each event.
• Open training is available at the conclusion of daily competition.  The length of these sessions will be dependent on the finishing time of the competition on that day.

Alternate Training Venues

There are no alternate training venues in the Canberra region.
